I don't have it, but from what I've read, the original Shank only required 6 buttons. There is a separate button to pick up objects instead of just using one of the hack buttons. Requires 8 buttons, which is just ridiculous for a side scrolling 2D hack and slash. Shank 2 Just got this one and haven't put it on the cab yet. I haven't put it on my cab yet, but imagine it will work great. Nights Into Dreams High res version of the classic Saturn game (also includes the original lower res). I assume it works as well as the other fighters. Street Fighter X Tekken I bought it (not on steam), but haven't messed with it much yet. Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition works good (I downloaded non-steam version from Capcom).

See thread in Software forum for more info. I keep buying Steam games because they turn up very cheap on sale, either at Steam or Īnyone care to share what fairly modern games they are running?Ĭastle Crashers works good, but requires at least 7 buttons and remembering combos for other functions which are covered by other dedicated buttons if using a controller.

The theme for the October Monthly Video Game Review Contest is flight. There is a PC games thread stickied in the software forum, but stuff gets buried in older pc games. Beware the Blasphemous Piano of the Dead!. Postmortem of a successful crowdfunding campaign. The theme is "All-Out War", the games need to be developed in Unity, and it doesn't have to be about zombies. The Walking Dead series is celebrating its 10th birthday, they're organizing a game jam to celebrate. A well argumented RPS editorial about horror games and their general lack of imagination. Ciess and Virtual Internet Hacker, both winners of the Indiecade VR game jam also look intriguing. The Oculus Rift isn't available yet but indie developers have been doing some interesting things with the dev kits: Alone lets you play a videogame inside a Oculus videogame, to great effect, see it in action in this NSFW (swearing) let's play video (or better yet, give it a try yourself if you're one of the lucky few to have a dev kit). #Boson x steam hack full#
Oh, and the game will come with a full set of modding tools. The game is supposed to be released later this year, there's an interesting alpha gameplay video available.
If you liked Jagged Alliance, XCOM (original or reboot), Laser Squad or Shadowrun returns you'll probably be as interested as me in Halfway, a futuristic turn-based tactical game with lovely pixel graphics, a System Shock-esque story and RPG elements. The game is far from finished, but check out this eyeball-popping trailer (rendered in-engine): For the record, the stretch goal was "first-person combat possible everywhere", meaning you will be able not only to board enemy ships and space stations but also to put your shooting talents to good use on planets too. The space sim game broke over $20M in funding yesterday (which, coincidentally was the first Wing Commander game's birthday). Space Citizen is probably the most funded game in crowdfunding history. #Boson x steam hack Ps4#
The game will also be ported on the PS4 and Xbox One.
And if you crave more, you'll be happy to learn that Carmageddon: Reincarnation will be available on Steam Early Access early 2014. Judging from the trailer, it's everything you could expect from a South Park game: fantasy RPG tropes parody, anal probes and talking poop. The console version will come out on 13th December, the PC version at a later date.
The future of the game was uncertain after the explosion in mid-flight and subsequent dismemberment of THQ, but South Park: The Stick of Truth finally has a release date, at least for PS3 and Xbox 360. Valve also promised to reveal detailed specs of their SteamOS prototype next week.
